The principal aim of the fund in Russia and abroad is to support the general development of democratic institutions; partnerships between countries and people; the fostering of international business and humanitarian links between citizens and organisations, and particularly NGOs. This work will be based on the latest achievements in economics, jurisprudence, mathematical models and information - communications technology.

The Fund will support NGO projects and programmes, facilitating the improvement of dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation between peoples and organisation worldwide.

We stand for the full development of good relations between neighbours, supporting stability and promoting an atmosphere of joint understanding, friendship and collaboration, of equal rights in a trustworthy partnership of interest to both sides in a peaceful coexistence.

 

Ladies and Gentlemen - Dear Friends

Our Fund is opening its doors at a very difficult time. But now, more than ever, it is important to support and to expand our role as a good neighbour to the ordinary citizens of other countries with whom we share a border, particularly in the realms of social, scientific, educational and creative issues.

The raising of the level of mutual understanding and collaboration with the peoples bordering Russia is of the greatest priority for the Fund. We invite all to cooperate with us for the greater good of our peoples. Only through good neighbourliness and active cooperation can our countries effectively meet the challenges and threats of our times and build a just and rational world order to provide equal rights for the development of all peoples.
